Atlanta Falcons vs Green Bay Packers prediction

  • Date: Thursday, September 24.
  • Kickoff: 8:15 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Atlanta 29%; Green Bay 71%.
  • What to watch: Michael Penix Jr.'s first start of the season.

Atlanta has named Penix its starter after an 0-2 opening in which the offense failed to reach the red zone. His return gives the Falcons a chance to reset their passing game, but sustaining drives matters more than occasional deep completions. We favor Green Bay: forcing Atlanta into third-and-long would put the pressure on a quarterback making his first start since last season's knee injury.

Los Angeles Chargers vs Buffalo Bills prediction

  • Date: Sunday, September 27.
  • Kickoff: 1:00 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Chargers 25%; Buffalo 76%.
  • What to watch: How Los Angeles adjusts without tight ends David Njoku and Charlie Kolar.

The Chargers have placed Njoku and Kolar on injured reserve, leaving Justin Herbert with fewer options at tight end. That complicates both the passing game and blocking assignments against Buffalo. Los Angeles needs sustained possessions to keep Josh Allen off the field, especially if its offense struggles to replace those snaps. We favor the Bills, with the Chargers' depleted supporting cast making a road upset harder.

Carolina Panthers vs Cleveland Browns prediction

  • Date: Sunday, September 27.
  • Kickoff: 1:00 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Carolina 59%; Cleveland 42%.
  • What to watch: Bryce Young's ability to complete passes under pressure.

Young threw two touchdown passes under pressure in Carolina's win over Atlanta, an encouraging sign before another road test. Cleveland needs to disrupt his timing without allowing receivers to get behind the secondary. We give Carolina a slight edge after that passing performance. The Browns can change the outlook by keeping Young in the pocket and turning pressure into sacks rather than allowing him to extend plays.

Carolina Panthers vs Cleveland Browns game preview and odds analysis.

New York Jets vs Detroit Lions prediction

  • Date: Sunday, September 27.
  • Kickoff: 1:00 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Jets 28%; Detroit 73%.
  • What to watch: Aaron Glenn's defense against his former team's offense.

Glenn returns to Detroit with a Jets defense that has held both opponents below 200 total yards. The next test is tougher: Jared Goff has six touchdown passes and no interceptions through two games. We lean Detroit because its passing attack can punish extra attention to the run. New York's chance depends on making Goff uncomfortable while limiting Jahmyr Gibbs' gains on early downs.

New York Jets vs Detroit Lions game preview and odds analysis.

Houston Texans vs Indianapolis Colts prediction

  • Date: Sunday, September 27.
  • Kickoff: 1:00 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Houston 58%; Indianapolis 43%.
  • What to watch: Houston's ability to turn drives into touchdowns.

Both teams are looking for their first win. Houston managed only six points against Cincinnati, while Indianapolis pushed Kansas City into overtime behind two Jonathan Taylor rushing touchdowns. The Texans need more from their offense to justify their market lead. We see a closer game than the prices suggest: Taylor gives Indianapolis a way to control possessions, and Houston still has to prove it can finish drives.

Houston Texans vs Indianapolis Colts game preview and odds analysis.

New England Patriots vs Jacksonville Jaguars prediction

  • Date: Sunday, September 27.
  • Kickoff: 1:00 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: New England 41%; Jacksonville 60%.
  • What to watch: Jacksonville's protection for Trevor Lawrence.

Lawrence's effectiveness dropped sharply under pressure in Jacksonville's loss to Denver. New England can make this uncomfortable by creating passing situations that allow its rush to attack. The Jaguars need quick completions and manageable third downs to keep their offense moving. We give Jacksonville a narrow edge at home, but another uneven protection performance would leave the Patriots well positioned to challenge the market favorite.

New England Patriots vs Jacksonville Jaguars game preview and odds analysis.

Kansas City Chiefs vs Miami Dolphins prediction

  • Date: Sunday, September 27.
  • Kickoff: 1:00 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Kansas City 86%; Miami 15%.
  • What to watch: Miami's ability to contain Patrick Mahomes without neglecting the run.

Mahomes threw for 382 yards and three touchdowns against Indianapolis, while Kenneth Walker III added 117 rushing yards. That balance creates difficult choices for Miami's defense: extra coverage can leave running lanes, while committing defenders to the box creates passing opportunities. Kansas City gets our pick. Miami needs to limit explosive plays and make the Chiefs earn their points through long drives.

Kansas City Chiefs vs Miami Dolphins game preview and odds analysis.

Tennessee Titans vs New York Giants prediction

  • Date: Sunday, September 27.
  • Kickoff: 1:00 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Tennessee 43%; Giants 58%.
  • What to watch: Jaxson Dart's status after his knee injury.

The Giants' quarterback situation is central to this game after Dart left Monday's loss to the Rams. Jameis Winston struggled in relief, and a short preparation week adds another challenge if he is needed again. New York leads the market, but we are withholding a firm pick until the quarterback picture is clearer. Tennessee's opportunity is to pressure the passer without surrendering easy completions behind the rush.

Tennessee Titans vs New York Giants game preview and odds analysis.

Cincinnati Bengals vs Pittsburgh Steelers prediction

  • Date: Sunday, September 27.
  • Kickoff: 1:00 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Cincinnati 64%; Pittsburgh 37%.
  • What to watch: Pittsburgh's coverage of Ja'Marr Chase on third down.

Chase caught two touchdown passes in Cincinnati's win over Houston, while Tee Higgins supplied key third-down conversions. Pittsburgh cannot focus entirely on one receiver without creating opportunities for the other. We favor Cincinnati's passing game, provided Joe Burrow has time to work through his reads. The Steelers need pressure that arrives before those routes develop, plus sustained offensive possessions to keep Burrow on the sideline.

Cincinnati Bengals vs Pittsburgh Steelers game preview and odds analysis.

Seattle Seahawks vs Washington Commanders prediction

  • Date: Sunday, September 27.
  • Kickoff: 1:00 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Seattle 75%; Washington 26%.
  • What to watch: Marcus Mariota taking over for the injured Jayden Daniels.

Washington will start Mariota after Daniels' elbow injury, changing the outlook for an offense facing Seattle. The Commanders need a manageable passing workload and productive early-down runs to avoid asking their backup to rescue long-yardage possessions. We favor Seattle, although Mariota's mobility requires disciplined containment. Washington's best route to an upset is to protect the football and keep the game within reach into the fourth quarter.

Arizona Cardinals vs San Francisco 49ers prediction

  • Date: Sunday, September 27.
  • Kickoff: 4:05 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Arizona 22%; San Francisco 79%.
  • What to watch: Arizona's tackling against Christian McCaffrey.

McCaffrey scored twice on the ground as San Francisco beat Miami to reach 2-0. Arizona needs to prevent routine handoffs and short completions from becoming chunk gains, especially when defenders are isolated in space. We favor the 49ers' balanced offense. The Cardinals can make this more competitive by limiting yards after contact and forcing Brock Purdy into obvious passing situations rather than allowing easy second downs.

Arizona Cardinals vs San Francisco 49ers game preview and odds analysis.

Minnesota Vikings vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers prediction

  • Date: Sunday, September 27.
  • Kickoff: 4:05 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Minnesota 53%; Tampa Bay 47%.
  • What to watch: Kyler Murray's return to Minnesota's starting lineup.

Murray has cleared concussion protocol and will start after Carson Wentz helped Minnesota reach 2-0. The Vikings now have to bring him back into the offense without losing the ball security that supported those wins. We give Minnesota a slight edge, matching the close market assessment. Tampa Bay can reverse that outlook by containing Murray's scrambles and forcing the Vikings to sustain drives from the pocket.

Minnesota Vikings vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers game preview and odds analysis.

Baltimore Ravens vs Dallas Cowboys prediction

  • Date: Sunday, September 27.
  • Kickoff: 4:25 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Baltimore 62%; Dallas 38%.
  • What to watch: Baltimore's ability to sustain its offense after halftime.

Baltimore scored only three second-half points in its loss to New Orleans, making offensive consistency the priority against Dallas. This is a neutral-site game, so the Cowboys' designation as the home team does not bring their usual home-field advantage. We lean Baltimore if it keeps Derrick Henry involved and avoids stalled possessions. Dallas can upset that plan by forcing turnovers and making the Ravens chase points.

Baltimore Ravens vs Dallas Cowboys game preview and odds analysis.

Las Vegas Raiders vs New Orleans Saints prediction

  • Date: Sunday, September 27.
  • Kickoff: 4:25 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Las Vegas 39%; New Orleans 62%.
  • What to watch: Tyler Shough's decision-making against Las Vegas' secondary.

Shough led a fourth-quarter comeback against Baltimore, while Raiders rookie cornerback Zeke Masses intercepted two passes in the win over the Chargers. That makes ball security a compelling test for New Orleans against unbeaten Las Vegas. We give the Saints a slight edge after Shough's composed finish last week. The Raiders can swing the game by converting pressure and tight coverage into another takeaway-driven performance.

Las Vegas Raiders vs New Orleans Saints game preview and odds analysis.

Los Angeles Rams vs Denver Broncos prediction

  • Date: Sunday, September 27.
  • Kickoff: 8:20 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Rams 56%; Denver 44%.
  • What to watch: Denver's coverage of Davante Adams.

The Rams rebounded with a 28-6 win over the Giants, with Adams central to an offense that moved the ball despite Puka Nacua's absence. Denver presents a new test after beating Jacksonville, and Los Angeles has a shorter preparation week following its Monday game. We lean Rams because of Matthew Stafford's connection with Adams, but Denver can keep this close by disrupting that timing and limiting deep completions.

Los Angeles Rams vs Denver Broncos game preview and odds analysis.

Philadelphia Eagles vs Chicago Bears prediction

  • Date: Monday, September 28.
  • Kickoff: 8:15 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Philadelphia 68%; Chicago 32%.
  • What to watch: Caleb Williams' availability following a hamstring injury.

Chicago has described Williams as week-to-week without ruling him out for Monday. His status matters after the Bears managed only three points against Minnesota. We lean Philadelphia while that uncertainty remains, although Chicago's defense can keep the game competitive. The Bears need productive early downs and fewer empty possessions, whether Williams returns or they have to adjust their offense for a backup quarterback.

What could change before the Week 3 games?

The Giants' and Bears' quarterback updates could materially change those previews. Final injury reports, game-day inactive lists and weather forecasts may also affect the outlook elsewhere. The probabilities above reflect the recorded market snapshot and may change as news develops. Any confirmed kickoff changes will be reflected in the schedule.
