The Rams get a narrow early lean, with their established offensive structure carrying more weight than their opening result. Stafford led the NFL in passing yards and touchdowns last season, and Sean McVay retains the core of that attack. Even in the 27-7 loss to San Francisco, Kyren Williams and Blake Corum combined for 95 rushing yards on 21 carries. There is a route to moving the ball without asking Stafford to force every possession through the air.
Los Angeles nevertheless has something to prove. Stafford threw for only 155 yards with an interception in the opener, and Puka Nacua's hip issue now complicates the passing-game outlook.
