OG win probabilities for Utah and Iowa State, Texas tech and Miami were unavailable at the moment.

Northwestern Wildcats vs Indiana Hoosiers prediction

  • Date: Friday, September 25.
  • Kickoff: 8:00 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Wildcats 7%; Hoosiers 94%.
  • What to watch: Indiana's defense after consecutive shutouts.

Indiana has blanked Howard and Western Kentucky in consecutive games, allowing its offense to play without chasing points. Northwestern arrives after a 41-7 win over Colorado, so this is a useful test of whether the Hoosiers can sustain that defensive control against a more productive opponent. We favor Indiana. The Wildcats need to avoid early negative plays and keep their offense out of the obvious passing situations that would let Indiana dictate the game.

Illinois Fighting Illini vs Ohio State Buckeyes prediction

  • Date: Saturday, September 26.
  • Kickoff: 12:00 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Fighting Illini 5%; Buckeyes 97%.
  • What to watch: Illinois' protection and Collin Dixon's receiving threat.

Illinois has started three different right guards through three games because of injuries, making continuity up front a concern. There is a proven target if the protection holds: Collin Dixon already has 367 receiving yards and seven touchdown catches. We favor Ohio State, but Illinois has a clear way to challenge that pick. Getting Dixon involved without repeatedly asking the offensive line to hold up on third-and-long would give the underdog a better chance.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons vs Louisville Cardinals prediction

  • Date: Saturday, September 26.
  • Kickoff: 12:00 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Demon Deacons 20%; Cardinals 81%.
  • What to watch: Louisville's ball security.

Louisville enters Week 4 averaging 46 points per game without a turnover. That combination puts pressure on Wake Forest to earn stops rather than count on short fields or mistakes. The Cardinals also just scored 41 against SMU, giving their offensive production some conference context. We favor Louisville. Wake Forest needs to limit explosive gains and finish its own possessions with touchdowns to avoid falling into a game that demands points on every drive.

Sam Houston Bearkats vs Texas Tech Red Raiders prediction

  • Date: Saturday, September 26.
  • Kickoff: 12:00 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Bearkats 2%; Red Raiders unavailable.
  • What to watch: Texas Tech's improving pass rush.

Texas Tech reached 3-0 after overcoming an early 10-0 deficit against Houston. Will Hammond threw for 257 yards, while the defense recorded three sacks, including two in the fourth quarter. We favor the Red Raiders against a 1-2 Sam Houston team, with their pressure providing a way to take control without depending on a shootout. The Bearkats need quick decisions and manageable third downs to prevent that rush from taking over.

Texas Longhorns vs Tennessee Volunteers prediction

  • Date: Saturday, September 26.
  • Kickoff: 12:00 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Longhorns 65%; Volunteers 35%.
  • What to watch: Tennessee's ability to disrupt Arch Manning's timing.

Manning enters with 661 passing yards through three games, while Cam Coleman leads Texas with 178 receiving yards. Tennessee's challenge is to make the Longhorns work through extended possessions instead of allowing quick strikes that quiet the home crowd. We give Texas the edge, provided its protection allows Manning to stay on schedule. The Volunteers can shift the matchup by winning early downs and making Texas convert long third downs in a difficult road environment.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs Purdue Boilermakers prediction

  • Date: Saturday, September 26.
  • Kickoff: 2:00 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Fighting Irish 96%; Boilermakers 5%.
  • What to watch: Purdue's passing game against Notre Dame's defense.

Ryan Browne has passed for at least 300 yards in each of Purdue's first three games, including 378 yards and three touchdowns against UCLA. Notre Dame cannot treat this as a game in which the opponent lacks an offensive threat. We still favor the Fighting Irish, who have avoided turnovers through three games. Purdue needs to pair Browne's production with defensive stops; trading long scoring drives will be harder if Notre Dame keeps protecting the football.

Utah Utes vs Iowa State Cyclones prediction

  • Date: Saturday, September 26.
  • Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Utes unavailable; Cyclones unavailable.
  • What to watch: Utah's defense in its first road game.

Utah enters 3-0 after allowing just 24 points across its first three games, including a 33-0 shutout of Utah State. Devon Dampier has added seven touchdown passes, giving the Utes production on both sides of the ball before their first road test. We lean Utah, but Iowa State can challenge that pick by sustaining possessions and making Dampier work through long drives. Early-down efficiency will be especially important against a defense allowing only 75 rushing yards per game.

Iowa Hawkeyes vs Michigan Wolverines prediction

  • Date: Saturday, September 26.
  • Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Hawkeyes 34%; Wolverines 66%.
  • What to watch: Michigan's defensive pressure and Bryce Underwood's mobility.

Michigan enters 3-0 while allowing 220 yards per game and recording 10 sacks. Underwood adds another challenge for Iowa, with 156 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns alongside his passing production. We favor the Wolverines because they have ways to affect the game on both sides of the ball. Iowa needs to keep its quarterback out of long-yardage situations and contain Underwood when a covered passing play turns into a scramble.

Oklahoma Sooners vs Georgia Bulldogs prediction

  • Date: Saturday, September 26.
  • Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Sooners 16%; Bulldogs 84%.
  • What to watch: Georgia's protection against Oklahoma's defensive front.

Kirby Smart highlighted Oklahoma's aggressive defensive front and John Mateer's ability to extend plays when discussing this matchup. Those are two ways the Sooners can make Georgia's strong market advantage less comfortable: force negative plays, then keep their own possessions alive when the initial passing option is covered. We favor Georgia, but that pick requires disciplined protection and rush lanes. Letting Mateer repeatedly escape on third down would give Oklahoma a way to stay close.

Ole Miss Rebels vs Florida Gators prediction

  • Date: Saturday, September 26.
  • Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Rebels 42%; Gators 59%.
  • What to watch: Florida's rushing attack and its ability to contain Ole Miss.

Jadan Baugh has rushed for 458 yards through three games, giving Florida a productive foundation before this SEC matchup. The Gators are coming off a 44-39 win over Auburn, while Ole Miss held off LSU 32-24. We give Florida a slight edge at home, with Baugh offering a way to control possessions. The concern is on defense: another game allowing points that freely would give the Rebels ample room to challenge the favorite.

Houston Cougars vs Georgia Southern Eagles prediction

  • Date: Saturday, September 26.
  • Kickoff: 4:00 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Cougars 90%; Eagles 10%.
  • What to watch: Houston's rushing attack after a narrow conference loss.

Houston is averaging 527.3 total yards and 264 rushing yards per game, giving the Cougars a productive foundation as they respond to a 28-26 loss at Texas Tech. Willie Fritz also returns to face a Georgia Southern program he previously coached. We favor Houston because its ground game offers a way to control possessions on the road. The Eagles need early stops and must avoid letting routine runs become the long gains that open up play-action passes.

Wisconsin Badgers vs Penn State Nittany Lions prediction

  • Date: Saturday, September 26.
  • Kickoff: 5:00 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Badgers 23%; Nittany Lions 78%.
  • What to watch: Wisconsin's passing game against Penn State's defense.

Penn State held Buffalo to 173 total yards and one third-down conversion in 15 attempts. Wisconsin arrives with a more encouraging passing performance: Colton Joseph threw for 362 yards and three touchdowns against Eastern Michigan, while Tyrell Henry caught 14 passes. We favor Penn State at home, but Wisconsin has a clear target to build around. Disrupting the Joseph–Henry connection without leaving other receivers uncovered will be central to the Nittany Lions' defensive plan.

Central Michigan Chippewas vs Miami Hurricanes prediction

  • Date: Saturday, September 26.
  • Kickoff: 6:30 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Chippewas 1%; Hurricanes unavailable.
  • What to watch: Miami's ability to take control early.

Miami is 3-0 after a 33-20 road win over Wake Forest, following victories in which it scored 45 and 77 points. Central Michigan needs to prevent that offense from building an early cushion that forces the Chippewas to abandon the run. We favor Miami, with its scoring production providing the stronger foundation. The Hurricanes still need disciplined tackling and ball security; giving the underdog short fields would make this matchup more difficult than it needs to be.

South Carolina Gamecocks vs Alabama Crimson Tide prediction

  • Date: Saturday, September 26.
  • Kickoff: 7:00 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Gamecocks 19%; Crimson Tide 82%.
  • What to watch: Whether South Carolina can exploit Alabama's pass defense.

Alabama has scored at least 45 points in each of its first three games, but Florida State just threw for 377 yards in a 50-36 loss. South Carolina should see a reason to test the secondary, even with the Crimson Tide heavily favored. We pick Alabama because its scoring pace gives opponents little margin for empty possessions. The Gamecocks need explosive completions and defensive stops together; finding only one of those is unlikely to be enough.

Oregon Ducks vs USC Trojans prediction

  • Date: Saturday, September 26.
  • Kickoff: 7:30 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Ducks 61%; Trojans 40%.
  • What to watch: Jayden Maiava against Oregon's secondary.

USC is 4-0, with Maiava throwing 12 touchdown passes against one interception through four games. Oregon remains the market favorite, but its 39-31 loss to Oklahoma State makes the defensive matchup worth close attention. We lean toward a USC upset at home if Maiava maintains that ball security. The Trojans cannot rely on offense alone, however: allowing 35 points to Rutgers last week leaves a clear reason for caution about that pick.

Texas A&M Aggies vs LSU Tigers prediction

  • Date: Saturday, September 26.
  • Kickoff: 7:30 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Aggies 25%; Tigers 76%.
  • What to watch: Which offense avoids another large deficit.

LSU erased a 24-7 deficit against Ole Miss before losing 32-24, while Texas A&M fell behind Kentucky 28-7 on the way to a 31-21 loss. Both teams need a more complete performance. We lean LSU at home, but its market advantage does not erase last week's uneven play. The Aggies can challenge that pick by keeping Marcel Reed out of a pass-heavy comeback script and preventing LSU from finding an early offensive rhythm.

Missouri Tigers vs Mississippi State Bulldogs prediction

  • Date: Saturday, September 26.
  • Kickoff: 7:45 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Tigers 33%; Bulldogs 68%.
  • What to watch: Missouri's ability to slow Mississippi State's scoring.

Mississippi State scored 41 points in its win over South Carolina, providing a strong recent result before returning home for Missouri. The Tigers need to make the Bulldogs sustain drives instead of allowing the game to become a succession of quick scoring possessions. We favor Mississippi State, though allowing 34 points in that same win leaves Missouri an opening. Finishing drives with touchdowns could keep the road team within reach late.

Missouri State Bears vs SMU Mustangs prediction

  • Date: Saturday, September 26.
  • Kickoff: 9:00 p.m. ET.
  • OG win probabilities: Bears 2%; Mustangs 99%.
  • What to watch: Kendrick Raphael and SMU's rushing attack.

Raphael rushed for 197 yards and three touchdowns against Louisville, but SMU still lost 41-31. The Mustangs have a productive running game to build around as they try to respond against a 1-2 Missouri State team. We favor SMU, with Raphael giving the offense a way to control the pace without forcing difficult throws. Better defensive work remains necessary: another strong rushing performance would be less reassuring if Missouri State can keep answering with points.

What could change before the Week 4 games?

Injury updates, confirmed quarterback changes and weather forecasts could affect these matchups before kickoff. Illinois' offensive line availability is particularly relevant after its early-season changes at right guard. The probabilities above reflect the recorded market snapshot and may change as news develops. Check current prices and confirmed kickoff times before making a trading decision.
