Prediction markets let you trade on the outcomes of real-world events. Prices reflect the market's estimated probability of an outcome.

Let's say you think Chicago will win their next game. Here's how a $10 trade could work at different market probabilities:

10% chance: Trade $10 to receive $100 if Chicago wins ($10 ÷ 0.1 = $100 payout before fees)
50% chance: Trade $10 to receive $20 if Chicago wins ($10 ÷ 0.5 = $20 payout before fees)
90% chance: Trade $10 to receive $11.11 if Chicago wins ($10 ÷ 0.9 = $11.11 payout before fees)

In each case, if Chicago doesn't win, you lose your $10 trade.

These are illustrative examples before fees. Actual returns depend on the price at which you trade.
