HOW IT WORKS
This market will resolve to the conference whose member team records the single largest upset victory by seed differential in the College Basketball tournament. Conference membership is determined by the league's official team listings at the time the tournament bracket is published. For the purposes of this market, an "upset" is defined as a game in which the team with the larger seed number defeats the team with the smaller seed number (e.g., a 12 seed is larger than a 5 seed). If there are no upsets recorded, all markets settle as "No". Seed differential is calculated by subtracting the smaller seed number from the larger seed number in an upset victory (e.g., a 12 seed beating a 5 seed counts as a differential of 7). If multiple teams tie for recording the largest upset win by seed differential, the market will settle proportionally based on the conference affiliation of the tied teams. A winning conference will settle at x/n, where x is the number of tied teams from that conference, and n is the total number of tied teams. For example, if one team from Conference A and one team from Conference B tie, the market would settle as 1/2 Conference A and 1/2 Conference B. If two teams from Conference C and one team from Conference D tie, the market would settle as 2/3 Conference C and 1/3 Conference D. If a game result is vacated, forfeited, or administratively awarded, the advancing team will be the official recorded winner and will be used for settlement purposes. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the league governing College Basketball. The official resolution sources are the agencies listed in Rule 14.67(c) in the CDNA Rulebook, which can be found here [https://www.nadex.com/rules/]. Liquidity may be low while the event is live. Trading is temporarily paused during scheduled maintenance periods. Settlement Source: Rule 14.67(c) in the CDNA Rulebook
